# Introduction

OVAL3 is a fantasy rugby game built on the blockchain. It combines the best of blockchain and gaming technologies to create a new era of Fantasy Trading Card Games (TCG). Players who compete in various tournaments stand a chance to earn incentives (in-game assets and tokens) that can be reused in-game or extracted for its real world value.

The mission  of OVAL3 is to provide the best TCG fantasy gaming experience by fusing real life rugby with some facets of fantasy. The OVAL3 engine uses realtime player stats and performance in live matches to provide users with a fair scoring system that represents the relative skill and performance levels of the rugby players represented on the cards. In OVAL3, players own and manage their in-game NFT cards (Player, Resource and Booster Cards). These assets can be acquired directly from new offers on the primary marketplace or from other manager deals on the secondary market. Using their own unique strategies, players can deploy their cards in weekly competitions and get ranked on the leaderboards.&#x20;
